Common questions.

Do your cleaners bring supplies?

Yes — every visit includes color-coded microfiber, HEPA-style vacuums and our full lineup of pet-safe, child-safe products at no extra charge. Prefer we use your products? Just leave them out and let us know at booking.

Do I need to be home during the cleaning?

No. Most clients leave a smart-lock code, garage code or a key at the door. All cleaners are background-checked, insured and bonded.

Are your cleaners background-checked, insured and bonded?

Yes to all three. Every team member passes a background check before their first visit, and Triangle Home Cleaners carries general liability insurance and bonding.

How long does a house cleaning take?

Recurring visits usually take 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on home size. Deep cleans and move-outs run 3–6 hours. Because we're flat-rate, the time doesn't affect your price.

How much does house cleaning cost in Raleigh?

Recurring visits start around $130 for a small home and $180–$260 for most three-bedrooms. Initial (deep) cleans are quoted higher. Every quote is flat-rate — see the exact price before you book on our instant-quote page.

Do you clean apartments and condos?

Yes — apartments, condos, townhomes, high-rises with concierge desks and downtown lofts. See our apartment & condo cleaning page for details.

Do you work around pets?

Absolutely — we clean for pet households every day. Every product on our cart is pet-safe once dry, and we adjust our routine for anxious pets on request.

Can you use my cleaning products?

Yes. Leave your products out and note it in your booking. We'll skip ours and use yours.

What should I do before the cleaner arrives?

Pick up personal items you want us to work around (mail, papers, laundry piles). Cleaners work more efficiently when they can go straight to surfaces.

Do I need an initial (deep) clean first?

For most first-time clients, yes. Initial cleans get the home to a baseline that recurring visits can maintain. If your home is already in great shape, we'll let you know a recurring visit is enough.

Can I book just one time, no subscription?

Yes — our one-time cleaning page is built for exactly that. No contract, no commitment.

Do you clean inside appliances?

Yes — inside the oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher are optional add-ons on any cleaning. They're included on move-in / move-out cleans.

What happens if something is missed?

Let us know within 24 hours and we return to re-clean at no charge. See our 24-hour reclean guarantee for details.

How do cancellations work?

Cancellations more than 72 hours before your appointment are free. Within 72 hours, a fee of up to $150 applies because we've blocked the time on our calendar. Full details on our policies page.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds. Instead, we offer our 24-hour reclean guarantee — if anything is missed, we come back and fix it for free.

Can cleaners change bed linens?

Yes — leave fresh linens on the bed and we'll swap them out at no extra charge on recurring or deep cleans.

Is tipping expected?

Never expected, always appreciated. If you'd like to tip, the easiest way is at booking checkout or handed directly to the cleaner.

Can you clean while I'm working from home?

Yes — many of our clients work from home. Let us know your preferred workspace and we'll clean around it, saving that room for the end of the visit.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

Sometimes — depends on the day. Book on our instant-quote page and we'll confirm availability. Recurring clients get priority scheduling.

What's the difference between a maid service and a house cleaning service?

In practice, none — the terms are interchangeable. We use professional cleaners who follow a room-by-room checklist. Some clients prefer 'maid service,' others prefer 'house cleaner' — we answer to both.

Do you do commercial cleaning too?

Yes — offices, studios, retail, medical and post-construction. See our commercial cleaning page for details.

Are you eco-friendly?

Yes — non-toxic, pet-safe and child-safe products are the standard on every visit, at no upcharge. See our eco-friendly cleaning page for the full product breakdown.

Still have a question?

We'd rather answer than guess.
