✦ Grout cleaning · sealing · color restoration ✦
Clean the grout. Then go the extra mile.
Most cleaners stop at scrubbing. We scrub, then rejuvenate — restoring the original grout color with a pigmented colorizer and locking it in with a penetrating sealer.

Why grout looks tired
Cement grout is porous.
Soap scum, cooking grease, foot traffic and mop water all soak into the cement between your tiles. A normal scrub can lift the surface — but the discoloration that's settled into the pores stays. That's where rejuvenation comes in: we recolor the grout to a uniform shade and seal it so the staining can't come back.
- Shower grout that looks gray no matter how hard you scrub
- Patchy, uneven grout color across one floor
- Chronic mildew lines in bathrooms
- Yellowed kitchen backsplash grout from cooking oils
- High-traffic entries and mudrooms that ground in dirt
✦ The three-step process
Clean, color, seal.
Book any single step or the full rejuvenation. Most clients start with deep cleaning, then add colorizing and sealing once they see what's possible.
Step 1 · Included with Deep Clean
Deep grout cleaning
We start with a proper scrub — alkaline degreaser, soft acid descaler where safe, and stiff-bristle brushwork along every line. Lifts soap scum, body oil, kitchen grease and surface staining.
- Pre-treat with grout-safe degreaser
- Agitate every line with bristle brush
- Descale shower & wet-area grout
- Hot-water extraction rinse
- Neutralize & buff tile faces
Step 2 · The extra mile
Color restoration (colorizer)
Where cleaning can only go so far — sun-bleached, permanently stained or uneven grout — we apply a pigmented grout colorizer that bonds to the cement and restores a single uniform color. Pick the original shade or a brand-new one.
- Color-match to original grout
- Or choose a new shade entirely
- Uniform color across every line
- Hides permanent stains & shading
- Doubles as a built-in sealer
Step 3 · Long-term protection
Penetrating grout sealant
A high-quality penetrating sealer soaks into the porous cement and blocks water, oil and staining from reaching the grout. Keeps the work we just did looking new for years instead of months.
- Penetrating fluoropolymer sealer
- Repels water, oil & stains
- Slows mildew & discoloration
- Lasts 3–5 years on floors
- Easy to maintain on recurring visits
✦ Where we work
Every tile surface in the home.
Ceramic, porcelain, quarry tile — anywhere there's cement grout, we can clean it, recolor it and seal it.
Showers & tub surrounds
Descale, scrub and reseal vertical grout. Optional recolor for chronically discolored lines around the floor pan.
Bathroom & laundry floors
The #1 candidate for full rejuvenation — high traffic, splash zones and mop water all push staining into porous grout.
Kitchen backsplash & floor
Degrease cooking-oil haze along backsplash grout, then seal so the next splatter wipes right off.
Entryways & mudrooms
Foot traffic and outdoor grit grind into floor grout. A colorizer reset makes the whole entry read new.
Tile fireplace surrounds
Soot and smoke staining cleaned and locked out with a heat-stable penetrating sealer.
Pool decks & patios (covered)
Outdoor and screened-in tile grout cleaned, colorized and sealed for UV and weather.

Before you book.
What's the difference between cleaning grout and rejuvenating it?
Cleaning lifts what hasn't permanently stained the cement — grease, soap scum, surface dirt. Rejuvenation goes further: a pigmented colorizer bonds onto the grout to restore a uniform color and a penetrating sealer locks the result in for years. If your grout still looks tired after a deep clean, that's the case for rejuvenation.
Can you match my original grout color?
Yes — we color-match on-site against a fresh sample, or you can pick a brand-new shade if you want a different look. Most clients go a touch darker than the original to hide future wear.
How long does grout rejuvenation last?
The colorizer is permanent — it bonds chemically to the cement and doesn't wash out with regular cleaning. The penetrating sealer typically lasts 3–5 years on floors and 5–7 on vertical surfaces depending on traffic and the cleaners you use.
Do I need to book a Deep Restorative Clean too?
If it's your first visit with us, yes — we clean the whole tile field, baseboards and surrounding surfaces during the deep clean, then the grout work happens on top of that. Existing recurring clients can book grout rejuvenation as a stand-alone visit.
Will it damage natural stone or unsealed tile?
We test every product on a hidden tile first and switch to stone-safe descalers and sealers on marble, travertine and slate. We do not colorize stone-set joints — only cement grout between ceramic, porcelain and most quarry tile.
How long until I can use the floor or shower?
Walk on floors after 2 hours. Showers should rest 24 hours before getting wet so the sealer fully cures. We'll give you a written timeline before we leave.
